THE FURNISHINGS AND EQUIPMENT CHANGE IMPERCEPTIBLY IN THE HANDS OF THE INSANE, SOMEONE THROWS A BALL OR PLAYS THE VIOLIN, THE ENDLESS SHEETS ARE ACTUALLY A LABYRINTH OR A SCREEN? ARE WE STEPPING ON EACH OTHER'S SHOULDERS AND PLANETS FLITTING AROUND US. ARE WE INTERPRETING THE THEORIES OF PHILOSOPHERS OR PHYSICISTS, OR WITNESSING A MURDER? THE QUESTIONS ARE POSED IN DÜRRENMATT'S PHYSICISTS OF PERPETUAL MOTION, USING A COMBINATION OF THEATRE AND NEW CIRCUS LANGUAGE.
