“Taking the genre of new circus as a starting point - where theatre, dance and circus arts are combined - Simorág DanCircus creates productions that dazzle circus fans as well as dance and theatre lovers, children and adults alike.” /https://www.tanckritika.hu/
In magical tales, the heroes are in search of their own personality. In fact, this is the basic feature of the so-called magic tales. They provide a unique opportunity for children to happily follow the hero's journey, while adults can go through the phases of personality development, find their own obstacles, and gain new motivations through the stories.
In our magical fairy tale, our goal is to take our fairy-tale heroes through strange paths, across borders, on paths filled with transformations using our own fairy-tale symbol system, so that the chaos found within can turn into order. Due to the colourful world and story of the show, it enchants both the young and the old, everyone is captivated by the layer of the fairy tale that matches their age group, as it happens in all traditional written folk tales. The peculiarity of the playful, often humorous performance is that it is non-verbal, yet comprehensible, and guides you through the world of fairy tales with the tools of circus, theatre and dance. The production based on the company’s own fairy tale is a unique dance circus performance. Giant puppets, masks, acrobatics, and magic come together in a unified form. The story about the encounter of the prince and the fairies takes us to numerous special worlds. It shows us the hero of the fairy tale, the prince, as he crosses magical gates and fights dragons in order to reach his goal!
