Goblins live everywhere: they emerge from broom bushes; they are forest dwellers, meadow dwellers, or attic lurkers; they can be water goblins, drawer goblins, or even pocket goblins; they inhabit housing estates and sometimes even tag along with you. They get up to mischief—smashing, crashing, ruining, and dismantling things—yet they also guard dreams or brew *pálinka*. They quarrel and make up; they are restless, odd, and meddlesome creatures. To be honest, we have never actually seen a child throwing a tantrum, sulking, or telling fibs, but we have certainly caught plenty of goblins red-handed near children... and as for what they get up to—well, that is something worth seeing at least once! For this performance, Simorág Dance Circus has created an original story, though one deeply rooted in the countless tales of goblins and sprites we have explored. The show is built upon verse, and we recommend its dry humor and unique narrative to older children and adults alike.
