Simorág DanCircus - a new circus company.
We have been creating stories since 2010 by fusing theatre, dance, circus and puppetry.
In our world the set and the characters keep transforming, just as one can become anyone or anything in the flowing, imaginative world of stories. Our pieces are original adaptations, we create new stories, however every new tale is preceded by thorough research and several years of preparation. The symbols make our stories easy to grasp, where humour and lyricism are present at the same time. Our shows are non-verbal and are based on poetic texts.
Our stories are accompanied by live music, which strengthens, compliments and inspires our work. The stories we share capture both the young and the old, since stories are for everyone!
Flock project
Flock Project - our international vertical dance company.
The company was founded in 2016. Every year since we have produced a new show for the Mediawave Festival. Our new circus troupe creates performances that are a fusion of aerial acrobatics, theatre and dance on the walls of houses and fortresses as high up as 30 metres.
Besides performing in locations and festivals around Hungary, the group has also toured to Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Serbia and the Czech Republic.
